These days I call Seattle in Washington home, but I am originally from Denmark and moved to America in 2000. My Scandinavian roots strongly influence my design style. I have made many types of handmade design in my life and since 2018, I have been making ceramics.

I primarily focus on shape and texture when it comes to design. I spend quite a bit of time developing strong forms with clean lines. I think there is a certain quiet honesty to be found here, which I further accentuate with my calm color palette.

I work with stoneware clay, mostly on the wheel. My work is often a mixture of wheel-thrown pieces with a hand-built element to them, such as the attachment of a foot or a handle, stenciling, carving or hand painting a pattern.
