A Walk in Their Boots Living History Group is comprised of Re-enactors and Living Historians based in beautiful Northeast Tennessee. Since 2011, our organization has hosted Veterans tribute events known as 'A Walk in Their Boots'. The objective of these events is to honor those that lived, fought and died during some of the most difficult moments of American and world history. The events offer the public opportunities to visit extensive displays of military and civilian equipment, gear, weapons, vehicles etc., representing various time periods from Revolutionary War to Modern Day. We present battle re-enactments, weapons demos, cannon firing, a lecture series and more! The events are free to attend and our annual Veterans Day event in November features a special Veterans Recognition Program. We also offer an 'Education Day' for local student groups to experience a 'day in the life' of the American Soldier during the conflicts that shaped our country's rich history.
