I am Aaron Gase, a singer/songwriter based in Lansing, MI. Growing up in the metro Detroit area, I spent a few years performing at coffeeshops, bars, parks and anywhere else I could set up. Lansing's small but vibrant folk scene drew me into the city, where I've met and learned form many talented musicians. My songwriting has evolved from adolescent confessions into stories filled with imagery and a cleaner, more focused observation of the self. Finger picking folk and country with a hint of pop sensibility dominate my style, along with some driving boot stomping tunes.
