I design, make, and sell hand stamped greeting cards that are inspired by the Adirondack Mountains and Mother Nature. I also design, make and sell stationary, invitations, and announcements. All custom request are welcomed. Each design is original and only quality products are used.
I started Adirondack Greetings in 2011. About ten years ago a friend introduced me to rubber stamping. I found it very frustrating at fist as I am legally blind now . I kept on trying different styles and when I found scenic stamping, I was hooked. Through trial and error I have learned how to make an awesome greeting card. I had so many cards made that I decided to build a website in wich to sell my cards. I found out that making the cards was cake. The marketing and getting people to your site is a big job in itself. I was so excited when I recieved my first sale on my website. It was then that I realized I could be good at something again.
I usually have several designs going at once as it takes about a week to complete a set.. . When I approve the final cut they are packaged and listed for sale on my sites.
Not long ago I started an Etsy shop. I wanted to gain more exposure and ended up making some great friends and contacts and I have learned so much from the Etsy community.
People often ask me where I get my idead for new designs.. I live in the heart of the Adirondacks and have become a student of Mother Nature. With so much beauty surrounding me, how can I not be inspired.?
