Blue Fluorite Cubes and Hematite

details: While they are called “blue” fluorite cubes, these beautifully smooth and transparent cubes are more of a mint green color with an occasional vein of purple. The transparent cubes with the faceted metal grey hematite beads combine to make an eye-catching remarkable choker necklace. Fluorite means genius stone. It has been thought that fluorite heightens the ability to clear mental fog, as well as helps one to calm down and concentrate. Fluorite supposedly absorbs negative energy and stress. Some fluorite glows in the dark! Used in our toothpaste in the form of fluoride, it has been mined in many places and appears in multiple colors, an unusual occurrence for a gemstone. In the 1800s fluorite was mined in Illinois and has also been found across the US West. Currently, both China and Mexico are exporters of fluorite. Hematite, named after the rare veins of red resembling the color of blood, is an iron ore. It has been used in industry because it is very hard. Hematite is claimed to give protection and stability with a calming influence. STERLING SILVER Details: Necklace 16 ½” Earrings 2 ½”
