Trained as a graphic designer at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. Taught some basic jewelry making and needlecraft work from childhood by grandmother and mother. After retiring became interested in crocheted wire and bead work. Fellow Parish women asked me to make them necklaces like mine. Thus my business began in a very small way. It blossomed and grew by word of mouth advertising. I began researching and learning traditional bead stringing and continue adding to my knowledge of jewelry design and crafting. I now showcase my work at various craft shows.
