Artist Alicia Smith creates unique pieces of wearable art using many different materials including precious metals, gemstones, natural fibers, clays and found objects to name a few. Painting, carving, wire-wrapping, weaving, sewing, metalworking and beading are just a few of the techniques used to create one-of-a-kind works of wearable art.
As a musician, storyteller and recording artist, Alicia has many years of experience bringing her humor and skill in a wide variety of musical styles to the stage. She has the ability to not only entertain but, really connect with an audience. Alicia performs on guitar, keyboard, mandolin, accordion and harp as well as other folk instruments. Alicia performs solo or with her band, "The Dames".
