I am an event organizer located in Columbia County, New York. I am also the author of The Hidden History of Columbia County, NY, and Hudson Valley Curiosities. I will be co-hosting a new Festival called Hudson Valley Makers North at Love Apple Farm on Route 9H in Ghent, NY, on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 10am-4pm. This one-day festival will be celebrating the art and history of Hudson Valley hand-made, home-grown, and farm-raised items. We invite artists, crafter, makers, food producers, farmers, and other home-grown and hand-made makers to join our new Hudson Valley Makers North event. A limited number of non for profit booths will be offered free of charge. Special preference for free booths will be given to non profit historic sites who continue to make crafts reflecting the rich history of New York State.
