My work is infused with a love of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Virginia Tidewater, and Eastern Shore where sandy beaches of the Atlantic and Chesapeake Bay, forests, marshes, and mudflats. I love to paint en plein air as well, and have painted in Costa Rica, on the California Coast and most recently in The Basque Country and Portugal.
