Along for the Ride exemplifies LA Diversity!
Formed by musicians from Brazil, Mexico, and the United States, Along for the Ride builds bridges that separate languages, cultures, musical genres, and generations. By fusing the classical and jazz traditions in which its members were trained, with the African and Indigenous heritage of their native countries, Along for the Ride offers a unique way of interpreting jazz, bossa nova, and other Latin standards, as well as their original songs. Because of their strong cultural orientation, and the educational expertise of its leading members, Along for the Ride not only entertains, but offers didactical concerts for all audiences.
