Amplexus Pottery’s Stephanie Marder has been working with clay for 11 years. She is an accomplished artesian making functional ware for the kitchen and serving needs of her patrons. Her love of nature and herpetology has naturally led her to create her ‘Little Jewels’ or ‘Frog Ware’. Each frog is individually formed using a sprig mold and further carved, shaped and placed on the jars. Some frogs find there way into the container so that they may guard your property deposited therein. . Stephanie enjoys working with high fired stoneware with iron and is food, oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.
