My name is Jennifer Frank, and I am a home-schooling mother of seven. Several years ago I decided that I needed to stay home with my children, so I quit my job as a medical technologist and tried to generate income as a folk artist. It was slow going for a while, but over time I began selling wholesale to several galleries, including Domicile in Sister Bay, Sadie Hawk in Green Lake, and Folkworks Gallery in Evanston, IL. I also participated in many Arts and Crafts fairs, where I had a unique opportunity to observe what seemed to succeed and what did not. My goal is to apply my knowledge and experience to Art From the Barn, and make it a successful and enjoyable event for artists and the public. |
