Arts in Bartlett, the local 501 (c)3 nonprofit arts council, in cooperation with the Village of Bartlett, Hanover Township, Bartlett Park District, Hanover Park Sister Cities Committee, and the Village of Streamwood Community Relations Committee present an event to celebrate the diversity within our community. Last year 2,500 enjoyed a colorful, exciting, inclusive weekend of multicultural music, art, crafts, dance, food, and audience participation events that brought together people of all nationalities represented in our area. The Festival is in Bartlett Park (address 102 N. Eastern), the beautiful shaded park at Oak and North Avenue just north of downtown Bartlett on Saturday & Sunday, June 23-24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Booths for ethnic artists/crafters/free trade shops/food artisans/nonprofits will be throughout the park, with a family activity center. The main stage will feature musical acts and dancers. Another area will host participatory activities such as yoga, martial arts, dance lessons, drumming circles, henna art. The Gazebo will contain a Family Global Story Circle and multicultural crafts.
