After l, Lorin, retired from teaching public school for 25 years, l needed something new. I started to really enjoy upcycling and creating beauty out of 'junk'. My desire for creating beautiful things expanded as my beachcombing passion began to take over my basement (pebbles, driftwood, beach glass, OH My!...) Now, l create stuff out of everything it seems. We don't look for crazy profits, just enough to help us make changes to our place in Manistee and donate 20% to the Humane society. So, while l couldn't make a living doing this, l am having fun, being creative, making people smile and helping animals.
