Avis Ann Rosenlund brings a lifetime of experience in multiple mediums to her design of glass art. Working with her hands and creating 3-dimensional art has always been a passion. It was not until she quite working for someone else that her glass became more than just a hobby. She finally was able to concentrate on creating art for herself, family, friends and customers! The busniess AAR Originals completed the circle for her.
Each piece is handcrafted by Avis using traditional glass scoring and cutting methods and assembling per her vision of the end product. Pieces can be made from single layers of glass to multiple layers including dichroic coated glass, fine silver and other metals to enhance the design. Her business has expanded from a limited jewlery line to a large variety of styles of jewelry and plate, bowls and other functional vessels to garden art or wall and table art.
Every piece is unique in design and structure, therefore every piece of the handcrafted glass is an AAR Original!
