Awakening Into the Sun is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to uplifting, inspiring and connecting the local community. Our mission is to raise awareness of personal health and well-being through natural modalities aimed at reducing stress and bringing the body back into balance.
Our organization hosts a free annual community event and all its activities are open to the public free of charge for people of all ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles. The two-day Awakening Festival is co-sponsored by the city of St. Pete, Florida and draws over 10,000 attendees.
By introducing local businesses to people across the Tampa Bay area, we help keep 70% of each dollar spent in our own community; and we believe that when the community thrives, we all thrive.
The 10th annual spring Awakening Festival returns to North Straub Park in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida on March 11-12, 2023. Join us for free live music and yoga, food vendors, indie market with 150+ vendors and more. The outdoor weekend event is co-sponsored by the city of St. Pete.
