Bad Aqple

Bad Aqple is a rock band based in Omaha, NE.  While the band's genre is Rock, the band's sound is not inspired by any one sound, but it is an eclectic blend of Rock mixed with Funk, Country, R&B, Blues, Jazz and World music.

Bad Aqple burst onto the Omaha music scene in 2010, though the band started out as primarily a cover band, they quickly evolved into a band that writes and performs their own music. Bad Aqple still performs cover music, but they always add their own unique sound to the music they cover, making it more of their own by staying true to the Bad Aqple sound. Bad Aqple has played at many music venues in and around Nebraska and Iowa as well at music festivals such as the Heartland Pride Festival.

Band Members

Anita Guerra

Anita, who is originally from Clay Center, NE is the leader of the band.  Her primary instruments are vocals, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, trumpet, harmonica and Saxophone, however Anita also plays clarinet and percussion.  Anita has loved and played music all of her life, and cannot remember when she did not play an instrument, whether it was her instrument of choice or one of her siblings' instrument. Anita's musical influences are not so much a band or a singer, but more a mix of genres, Latino, Country, Rock, Jazz, R&B, Blues and World Music. One of the coolest things about Anita is that she sang with the Omaha Symphony.

Fred Stewart

Fred who is originally from Omaha, NE, plays electric and acoustic bass and has been with Bad Aqple since 2011.  Fred started playing bass when he was just a teenager and plays the 4, 5, and 6 string bass. Fred has travelled throughout the United States and the world playing with several bands and also while serving in the U.S. Navy.  When Fred is not working on his latest funky Bass lines, he enjoys riding Stella, his beloved and beautiful Motorcycle.

Ian Erisman

Ian is from Omaha, NE and will celebrate his 1 year anniversary with Bad Aqple in March. He plays percussion and provides vocals. Ian started playing drums when he was just 3 years old and his Dad bought him his own percussion set when he was 5.  Ian also plays trumpet, trombone, guitar and bass.  He played with several Omaha bands before joining Bad Aqple last year. Ian's percussion inspiration comes from, Mike Wengren of Disturbed, Joey Jordison of  Slipnot and Travis Barker of Blink 182, his vocal inspiration comes from Cory Taylor of Slipknot. Dan found an interest in remote controlled cars when worked in a hobby store that sold remote control cars and it didn't take much before he fell in love with them.

Dan White

Dan is from Council Bluffs, IA and has been with Bad Aqple since 2013.  Dan provides vocals and plays lead and acoustic guitar.  He is an Army Veteran who has travelled all across the United States playing with different bands, before joining Bad Aqple full time. Album Biography

Bad Aqple's first Album, “Just For You” was released in 2014 and features 12 tracks of original material; written by Anita Guerra and arranged by the band.

The album's title song is a slow emotional song, that evokes feelings of losing, being lost and finding the holder of your heart again. “Alright With Me” and “Down” are crowd favorites with catchy melodies and ear grabbing choruses.
