Hi! I am Ashley and I am the main maker here at Bark and Oak, LLC. I wanted to be able to create home decor and products that were unique and not the things that you would typically find in your big-box stores. I create as well as purchase files from reputable and creative designers to create my items. I want to be able to have an idea and watch it come to life. I love a good challenge and love to bring smiles to others. It is the biggest reward in what I do.
In my free time, I enjoy being outside and taking in nature. I love to fish, read and go to the beach any time I have an opportunity. I share two dogs, a miniature schnauzer ( Cash) and a labradoodle ( Blu) with my supportive and loving husband, Todd. Our daughter has grown up and moved out so we are still adjusting to life as "empty - nesters." We reside in North Alabama where the summers are extremely hot and humid and winters are relatively mild, yet too cold for my liking.
I have held many descriptions in my work life, recently as a nurse at a local OB/GYN office where I worked for 3.5 years. I became so enthralled with my laser work and company, I gave that up to dedicate my time to it. I work only when needed now at the same office,but those days are few and far between.
