Oklahoma landscape artist who paints in rich, bright color with a lot of texture. Many paintings are completed using a combination of brush and palette knife for variety in texture resulting in interesting landscape detail.
Becky Still Deed is retired from the airline industry and many of her subjects can be seen in her paintings from places she has traveled domestically and internationally.
She completed her art education degree with honors from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and continues her education by taking workshops from noted artists such as Bruce Peil, Judy Gelfert, and Derek Penix to name a few.
She is a member of Alpha Rho Tau a civic arts association in Tulsa, Oklahoma and past president of the Grapevine Art Project, Grapevine, Texas.
