I have been making jewelry for greater than 40years. I have a small shop in Salisbury, NC. I use gemstones, all types of metal, glass, crystals clay, vintage components and just junk. I am also a artist, mostly painting in acrylics.
I see something and think it would be a pretty piece of jewelry, a button, a piece of lace, anything that catches my eye. I do use purchased components and findings. Bright sparkling and flashy bling make me smile and i hope my work does others.
I was once setting in a restaurant and saw a lady wearing a braclet. I knew it was one of mine and i asked her where she got it and she told me it was a gift and where they had purchased it. It had one of a kind center piece. I told her I had made it. She was thrilled as was me to see some one wear my jewelry out.
I donate during the year to various organizations to use in silent auctions and functions. This is my way to give back to the community and gives me great joy.
