Welcome to Bella Vino Arts! This is a small start up company that came about after I injured my back. I abruptly ended up with too much time on my hands, mobility issues and needed to keep my mind busy and off my pain. I have always had an attraction to sapphire blue colored glass. I started collecting empty wine/beer/other bottles, corks and various items, from my family and friends and began tinkering. I began trying to cut and drill holes in the glass. I bought and learned to use a Dremel. I started making items, wanting each piece to be one of a kind. Most of my items light using battery operated LED, Fiber optic or tea lights hidden in various ways. I tend to avoid dangerous wax candles and bulky plug cords. I try to use recycled, or used items purchased at charity fund raisers or charity thrift stores to complete my items. Some acquired items are vintage; and I do find I have to purchase my lighting and some finishing touches at hobby stores or websites. I am currently focusing on doing bottle dioramas.
