Using photos when needed, my portraits and landscapes are completely done by hand. There is no computer manipulation - in fact the sketches begin with a brush on a wet canvas and the painting evolves from there. What can I say, I'm old school.
I live in a quiet river town on the Mississippi River and many of my paintings have been inspired while in my kayak with my camera in hand. I also am busy doing pet portrait commissions, teach a monthly painting class and volunteer at our local art gallery.
