I am an artist. I started out with a small business that specializes in faux finishes, murals & hand painted furniture. I did that for about 15 years. I began experimenting with creating canvases out of pallet wood. I started creating rich texture through paint layering and sanding. It's a technique I love. My subject matter is mainly based on nature...I'm an avid gardener and beach lover, so most of my work will reflect that. I love painting coastal animals and sea life. My paintings are very textural and full of bright colors. When viewing my work, people always ask to touch it (which I welcome).
