Bibi Fine Art, San Clemente, CA

Born in the South of France and raised in St Cézaire, Fabrice Spies grew up inspired by Provence. This self-taught artist started painting with watercolors at the age of 13. From there he moved to the medium of acrylics, which enabled him to pay more attention to detail. As a result, it is his photo-realistic style that has made him so popular with his clients. Fabrice moved to California in 1999 and established Bibi Fine Art, in 2003. His change in location from the countryside of France to the Los Angeles metropolis had a direct influence on his art, as seen by his Downtown Los Angeles series. Currently the artist resides in San Clemente.
