Black Sheep Weavers Fiber Guild, Hartland, MI

Member Since: November 29, 2011
Hartland, Michigan
Black Sheep Weavers Fiber Guild artists are known across southeast Michigan for creating original fiber art of exceptional quality. You'll often find our members' work featured at art venues throughout Michigan. Our passion for creating in fiber is expressed through a broad range of forms, including: spinning, weaving, knit and crochet, needle-felting, rug-hooking, basketweaving, fiber jewelry, needlework, fabric alteration, and art quilting. ~ We welcome into our guild all fiber artists with a passion for learning and creating! Twice a year we invite the public to our Fiber Arts Sales, where we offer for purchase one-of-a kind pieces to wear or display. ~ Our guild dates back to 1937, when it was founded by weavers in Livingston County. Our monthly meetings typically take place the first Thursday of the month, Sept. through May (except Dec.). New members are warmly invited! See website for details.
