From the mountains of Idaho comes the hard rocking duo BlackSmith with a striking, energetic live show and a catchy set of original songs. Equipped with a uniquely designed classical-electric guitar, some great musicianship and a solid beat, these two are bound to inject life wherever they play.
Under influences as diverse as Led Zeppelin, Kings of Leon, Townes Van Zandt and 90’s UK Techno, BlackSmith has produced a full-length album, ‘Camel Clutch’ in 2009 and in February 2011 will release a 6-song EP. They most often play at the Knitting Factory and the Neurolux in downtown Boise and as of May 2011 will be devoting their full-time to touring.
