I'm an ameteur artist that stumbled upon a craft somewhat by accident. I had purchased a sheet of aluminum for flashing. Having completed my repair I was left with a couple feet of aluminum and remembered buying a flower years ago. So, I said, let's try to make something. My first flowers were a bit sub par, but had a neat look to them. I continued to work making different kinds of flowers by cutting the aluminum with scissors to the shapes I thought I needed. It seemed with each flower I made, I learned a new technique in assembling and painting them, to where they started to look good. I gave the originals to family and friends for birthdays and special occasions and just really started enjoying this new found craft. People started saying to me that I should sell them at craft shows and such. So I found this site and I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens? Check out my gallery.
