“Ed Roth is one of those hard to find musicians who is truly in it for the music. He's one of those guys who really loves to play, and wants to get it right, no matter how long it takes. I love playing with him because of his laid back feel.”-Robby Krieger-guitarist/songwriter/founding member-the Doors

“I've been playing with Ed Roth for a number of years, and when he stretches out, he goes places that most players don't even think of. I live for the moments when Ed plays free. Very cool music.”                                           -Bill Champlin -two timeGrammy winning song writer and 28 year member of Chicago

Roth's concerts are a musical wild ride across decades and genres. Known for his passionate and explosive improvisations, his sets include flipped classics from all over the musical map; R+B, old school swing, rock, some funky contemporary jazz originals, and even some iconic soundtrack themes (including the theme from "The Good and the Ugly").
