Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association, Blue Ridge, GA
As a non-profit, 501(c)3 arts council, we have been providing opportunities for artists of all ages and mediums for the last 44 years. Our organization is dedicated to bringing high-quality exhibits, events, arts education, and programming to our community. We strive to create a welcoming environment for artists and our community to thrive.
In 2005, our association found a new home for its "Art Center" in the historic Fannin County Courthouse in downtown Blue Ridge after Fannin County relocated to a new courthouse. We currently have ten gallery/classroom spaces and host over 20 exhibitions each year, including an Artist in Residence Program and a Youth Art Camp in the summer. The Arts in the Park festivals are the centerpiece of our efforts, and being in its 48th year, it draws in over 21,000 visitors annually, featuring over 300 artists and craftsmen.
