The Bluegrass Music Association of Iowa is dedicated to supporting, promoting, educating, and preserving the appreciation and enhancement of traditional bluegrass music in the state of Iowa. To fulfill our mission we conduct activities including small group performances, workshops, music festivals, and participation in the Play It Forward (PIF) program. PIF fosters music literacy and performance skills in young people by providing no-cost access to primary bluegrass musical instruments.
