I have been a stay-at-home mom for 8 years, an elementary teacher for 23 years, a rural/city mail carrier for 7 1/2 years, and presently a caregiver for the last 2 years. I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. My creative interests, over most of my adult life, lies in creating pictures that are realistic and bring beauty and pleasure to my world and to those around me. I have enjoyed making and creating embroidery pictures, cross-stitch pictures, bulletin board scenes when teaching and later all fabric bulletin boards scenes. I am now enjoying creating wool applique pictures and penny rugs and love the process and the final product! It helps to keep my life full and rewarding with a feeling of accomplishment!
