Women lifting women up!!! No more self hatred No more negativity. No more putting myself down. I CHOOSE to be happy in the body God blessed me with! Pass it on! I can honestly say that I've had insecurities about my body for most of my adult life. I've battled with my weight, (I've lost 85# over the last 2 years and am struggling to take off those last few pounds) but through thick and thin, my I've have wonderful family all around me! My mom taught me that I can look nice no matter what my size or shape is, and it truly helps to lift my mood knowing that I've taken the extra effort to wear more than yoga pants and an old ratty T-Shirt! My dad taught me that anything worth doing, is worth doing right! Amazing influences, right? So it is with this background that I keep striving to be the best ME that I can be. Regardless of my mood, believing that I've taken the time on my appearance, actually makes my mood better!.... I helps have a whole new take on the day. And helps gives me a boost of confidence with life's day to day challenges. It is with this thought in mind that I want to help other women feel the same. Everyone wants to feel good about themselves, right? Sometimes it's a simple as knowing that you don't look frumpy! One step at a time, you can build confidence in ourselves and shed that poor body image. Some days are more challenging than others, but that confidence is actually contagious! It passes to the people around us, and how we treat them and how they see and treat us! I've noticed this especially with my wonderful family, who has been by my side thru all my ups and downs. I want to be the best ME that I can be, because I'm passing down my attitude to my family. Good or bad. I want them also to strive to be the best they can be! Please join me in this journey.
