I am from Neuchatel in the French speaking region of Switzerland. As a child, I was very attracted by the colorful ceramics made by the potters of France, Italy and Spain.
When I moved to the U.S.A. in 1984, I started to collect American pottery, such as Bauer, Fiesta, McCoy, Pacific. I still am collecting to this day!
All that has led to my passion for creating pottery. All my pieces are unique, wheel-thrown / hand-built.
It is a totally satisfying experience to take formless clay and create lively utilitrian wares.
