I became a single Mom in 1986. For Christmas 1987 I had very little extra money and decided to make and sell Teddy Bears. I did these for many people I worked with and made enough money for gift giving for my Son's, Jason and Jeremy. From there I made Teddy Bears and gave as gifts to Bride's and Groom's, new babies, hostess gifts and happy happy gifts and of course the usual gift giving times, Valentine's Day, Birthday's, Christmas etc..
So started Camille's Creative Corner.
I love creating. To take a yard of fabric and end up with a lovable, cudable teddy bear; to take a few beads with string and make a beautiful necklace. Ripping, snipping, gluing, sewing, pinching, stringing, washing, dying, coloring, painting. Using different types of mediums from paper and fabric to beads and buttons, glass and ceramic to wood and acrylic; creating wonderful pieces that are treasured and cherished and worn. Sharing this love of creation with you.
