Captain Slinky and family started out as crafters who vended at the famous PNW branch of the Oddmall Emporium of The Weird events that originated in Ohio. When the owner was about to throw in the towel during the Pandemic, we stepped in to help save this beloved artistic tradition! For over TEN YEARS now, Oddmall has provided a springboard for all the weird artists out there that don't quite fit in at your local Senior Citizen Craft Show & Bake Sale crowds. Every show has at least one - nestled there between the pot holders, aprons and bird houses you'll find somebody selling rhinestone skulls, drawings of eyeballs and creepy dolls. For our Captain Slinky Presents Oddmall Emporium of The Weird events, we gather over 170 of those weird-o's and put them in one giant building to make THE most unique shopping experience out there! Always with the free admission and free parking, each show strives to be more of an EXPERIENCE than just another building full of ways for you to spend money. We have Jugglers! Food trucks! A cash-prize Costume Contest! Over 100 Door Prizes! Your chance to fight a dude in a wheelchair! The Prize Wheel of Destiny! Monoculon The Observer! Raffles! Quests! Photo Ops! And really whatever other fun stuff we can think of!
