I am a retired superintendent of schools in Arkansas.  I spent 38 years in education in Arkansas.  Thirty-three of thos thirty-eight years were spent as a superintendent of schools.

At the present time, I write Historical Fiction novels and non-fiction books.  I am the author of Swords and Plowshares; Mamie, An Ozark Moutain Girl of Courage;Dark Clouds over Alabama; and Blue Skies of El Dorado.  I have also authored a two volume historical book on Cleburne County and its People. The Cleburne County books cover a time period of 1820's to 2010.  There are over 3500 short stories of people of Cleburne County that made a difference in making Cleburne County what it is today.
