I've enjoyed creating artsy crafts for over 20 years. I recently started to sell online thru Etsy. My shop on etsy is Carmelas Creations, official business name is Carmelas Craft Creations, LLC. I've added a 2nd shop to etsy called CarmelasCoastalCraft which displays my beach items exclusively. I have worked the craft show circuit in the Ocean and Cape may county areas. some years back I was delighted to receive a Blue Ribbon for best in show at the Lavalette Heritage Show, in Lavalette NJ. I was displaying my nautical wreaths, wood burned nauticals at the show. There were approximately 350 vendors at the show. I was so surprized and happy with the award.
I love working with nautural materials like wood, shells, dried florals, moss, etc. I really resonate with the seashore and love to duplicate from my minds eye what it might look like under the sea. I also love to fashion my own mermaid designs on wood and often implemment them into wall art hangings such as grape vine wreath designs. Angels are another favorite of mine. Such fun.
