My main work is custom designed, hand painted wood and jewelry boxes. Customers select a theme. I throroughly research the theme for overall best presentation and that is how I begin the process. I have been trained in portraits and did most of my earlier work in this area (pencil then moving onto oils/canvas). The focus on my work is what the customer wants and how I can portray it in a manner they are pleased with (contempary, realistic, etc). I have recently traveled to New York City to deliver 1 out of 4 pieces I have been commissioned to complete. It is the grandfather's wish they will become heirlooms for generations to come.
MY ART HISTORY: I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN ART SINCE I WAS A YOUNG CHILD. I RECEIVED SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND THE LOCAL UNIVERSITY ART PROGRAMS.
