Artist Bio
My photography journey began in high school taking photographs and working in the darkroom. After a six-year Navy career, my focus was directed to my family and my new hobby, playing amateur baseball. I rediscovered my love for photography during the 2017 solar eclipse. After retiring in 2022 I fully immersed myself in photography, taking classes and entering competitions.
My eye for composition and meticulous attention to detail has been recognized. My recent achievements include first place and second place wins at the 2024 Vancouver Art and Music Festival. Additionally, I've won "Best of Class" honors at the Clark County Fair for three consecutive years (2022-2024), along with a "Judges Choice" award in 2024.
While still developing my unique style, I try to capture the unique beauty of nature and advocate for its preservation. Each photograph serves as a reminder of the importance of nurturing and cherishing our natural world.
