Textures, fabric movement, light effects, unique color combinations all make a personal statement. Nature is an endless supply of these qualities, unusual bark color and texture, many different mosses, berries, pods, and even rocks. These are the qualities I draw from in making my hand made objects. I favor a quirky character with interesting combinations of fabrics or designs I started making my own clothing in 4th grade, was a floral designer for 10 years and have been constructing and repairing period costuming for Historic organizations. I have added making hand blocked hats and refurbishing vintage or antique hats. The other items in my shop, clothing, ceramics, glassware are actual "retro, vintage, and, antique". All of my hand made pieces have vintage materials in them. My other items are a collection of things from my past, my families past, back to some of my grandmothers, grandmothers belongings. Some of these precious treasures will be passed on for you to enjoy.
