I learned how to cane chairs when I was in High School (many years ago). Now I enjoy doing this as aSmall Business, and love to restore damaged furniture to it's useful function. I also enjoy making Nantucket Lightship baskets I also do some minor wicker furniture repair, rush seats, shaker tape and other woven seats, canoe seats, and I give lessons.
