Charlotte Christmas Village is an outdoor, European-inspired traditional German Christmas market featuring German food and beverages. Souvenir gluhwein mugs, Christmas ornaments, crafts vendors, food vendors, Christmas decor and gift items either handmade or with a European feel. 2019 is our 4th year and we have become established. We are planning more marketing, adding additional vendors and more entertainment. The event is now on the same street as the Charlotte Thanksgiving Day Parade, giving us great exposure. We receive marketing support from Charlotte Center City Partners and the Charlotte Regional Visitor's Authority and we attract attendees from multiple states. 5 selling weekends with only one set-up and strike. We provide vendors with tents, basic lighting and power (not enough for an electric heater). We operate 6 days a week from Thanksgiving Day to Christmas Eve. In 2019 we will add a "preview weekend" ... the weekend prior to Thanksgiving Day weekend, to maintain our 5 weekend season. Vendors apply for a spot.
