The incomparable Ella Fitzgerald said, “The only thing better than singing is more singing.” For the women of Cheaper Than Therapy Quartet, Ella's words are our motto! Fran, Carrie, Penny and Gail are as different as different can be…yet their voices blend beautifully and they love ringing chords while entertaining community audiences. Between the four of them, they have over 100 years of incredibly serious fun experience in singing a cappella in the barbershop style; unaccompanied 4-part harmony.
Cheaper Than Therapy knows that people who sing are healthier than people who don't… we're talking mind, body, spirit and soul. And recently, studies have found that singing lessens feelings of depression and loneliness, along with exercising our brain and improving our sense of well-being. Is it any wonder why we chose our name?!
We can put together a 15-, 30- or 45-minute program for your event, or we'll come to your place (Home? Workplace? Party? Gallery Opening?) and serenade someone special for any occasion... Special Day or Ordinary Day!
