Light Up the Park is a celebration of light, music, the arts, and community. Commumnity members of all ages carve and bring pumpkins to fill the park with a line-up of thousands of pumpkins lighted at dusk. A Zombie Run,
Night at the Museum; Games - Corn Husking,Mummy Wrapping, Largest Pumpkin, Needle in a Haystack; Food Vendors; Line Dancing; a lighted Pumpkin Flotilla in the creek that more than rivals a similar event in New York's Central Park; Movie; photo op; Fire Dancer; costumes add to the magical scene and concludes with a group Sky Lantern launch. This FREE commumnity event evokes commumnity spirit with no economic barriers.
