Usborne/Kane/Miller Books is a Division of Educational Development Corp.. EDC was founded in 1961 to develop supplemental curriculum materials for schools.. In 1978, EDC acquired the rights to publish childrens books from Usborne Publishing in England and in 2008 acquired Kane/Miller Publishing, an internationally known publisher of children's books with over 20 yrs. in the industry.
