YarnAndStuff.com was born out of the want of a spinner to get her hands on decent spinning fiber - a knitter who was bored with the everyday yarn offerings of typical stores - and a weaver and felter looking for unique "stuff" to spark her creativity. All of those people just happen to be me and I want to share my treasures with you.
We focus on the exquisite (which is not necessarily the same as expensive). Hand made by artists for artists, recycled and repurposed items, small producers, fair trade, and vintage beads and vintage buttons.
We know the feeling, the one that you get that with a special skein of yarn or 4 ounces of baby alpaca that you know will turn into heaven. That is what we want to offer you - not just products - but the joy they bring when you open the box.
