…A singer/songwriter, guitarist, and front man for Detroit’s premier Roots Blues & Boogie power quartet the Christopher Leigh Band. Chris’ style has been described as John Lee Hooker meets Johnny Winter with overtones of Lowell George and SRV. Chris mixed roots and blues music to get the Hot Rockin’ Motown Blues & Boogie sound he is known for today. He developed this style while playing in the ever so legendary bands the Alley Katz & the Boogie Chillens throughout the 1990’s to the mid 2000’s and still uses this style to excite blues & roots audiences from all over the world.
