While pursuing rabbinical studies on Mt. Zion, Jerusalem, Rev. Friedman was initiated into the study of traditional Hebrew Qabalah. He is also an initiate of several manifestations of the Western Mystery Tradition, and practices a unique hybrid of both the Traditional Hebrew and Modern Hermetic Qabalistic paths, adapted particularly to the context of Earth-based spirituality.
Eric is an ordained minister of the Church of Ancient Ways and the founder and former Director of the Long Island Open Circle, and the Ancient Ways Open Circles of St. Louis & the Quad Cities. Rev. Friedman is the author of the H. P. Lovecraft Tarot, and has been published in several occult & Masonic journals.
