Mimis' Creative Crochet
Member Since: March 24, 2016
Festival biz experience: 20+ years
I started doing crafts back in the 80's. I did a lot of tole painting then. I have progressed to completely crocheted items including afghans, hats/scarf sets, baby afghans and booties, ponchos, etc. My goal is to sell only afghans and baby afghans in the future.
I live in Cleveland, Georgia near my two great grandsons who are 8 and 14. All of my family of son and daughter and their spouses as well as my two granddaughters live close by. My grandson lives in Houston, Texas.
I am a graduate of Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama where I graduated in 1968. I taught high school speech, drama, social studies and geography at Lanier High School in Montgomery. I received the Teacher of the Year award in 1970.
