I am a Quality Control Engineer working in the Aerospace Industry. In order to relieve stress from the work place I have turned back to my artistic abilities. I have always been able to draw. Wood carving seemed a natural extension of that ability. I started carving back in 2000 to make some Christmas presents, and have been at it ever since.
I have done a lot of Celtic Knotwork carving. The most ambitious project was a fully covered Cradle for my sister. I have produced numerous relief carvings, and fan carvings for furniture, linen fold work, a pineapple for an open scrolled pediment.
Turned Items that I have produced include Bowls plates and platters up to 18" in diameter. Conducting batons Celtic music spoons, Salt and pepper grinders Christmas tree ornaments
